Studios annouces 2008's Sequential Suicide Theme!!
the release of our first ever themed anthology designed solely to
promote new and rising comics talent, we here at 803 Studios are annoucing
next year's theme for Sequential Suicide. And that theme is SLOP.
All stories submitted for 2008's Sequential Suicide should incorporate,
in some way, Remus Filch, a serial-killer pig farmer who's fetish
for prostitutes keeps his livestock well fed. For more information

Studios to debut Sequential Suicide: Rottingwood Road at Megacon
803 Studios wants to give a treat to all Megacon goers. Their long anticipated 88-page anthology, Sequential Suicide, will debut exclusively at Megacon in Orlando this February. Sequential Suicide was announced at Wizard World Chicago last year as an open submissions collection of independent talent from 803 Studios. The submissions were great. The fan response more than we could have ever dreamed. And now the book is ready to be released. This year’s theme centered around a one-car dirt road and the mysteries surrounding it. Pick up your copy for only $7.00 ($3.00 off the standard cover price) at tables 12 & 13 in Megacon’s Artist Alley. We will also debut next year’s theme in volume 1 of Sequential Suicide so don’t hesitate. Get yours there!

Vive la Revolucion!
Megacon was a blast. Maybe we’re plagued with idealism, but sitting in Indie Press and Artist Alley felt like sitting at ground zero of an emerging talent explosion where the trend to just get “spotted” at a convention has just been destroyed by the concept that, just maybe, independent publishers can not only hold their own, but can compete with the big boys in talent and production value giving fans something so much more than the standard spandex saves the day stories.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at our books and gave us such a great response. And thanks to the almost packed room at the “Self Publishing for Dummies” panel. We can’t thank all the great people we met this weekend enough. It was great catching up with talents such as Andy Lee, Skottie Young, Chuck Dixon, Mark Brooks, Greg Robinson, and Jason Flowers and it was even more exciting meeting the next generation of comics talent. We were blown out of the water this weekend by the likes of Shaun Ward, Greg Hopkins, Rachael Leigh Simmons, Jesse Hansen, and Ariel Burlison (just to name a few). Megacon was overflowing with talent and we were excited to be a part of it.
803 to be at Megacon 2006

career forward with the help of 803.

803 at Mega Con
Mega Con was a blast. We met some incredible undiscovered talent there
and are working hard to expand the boundaries of 803 Studios. It was
great seeing all of you out there, and for those of you looking for #2,
all we can say is be patient. #2 is on its way. We were noticed by some
of the big guys. Can't talk a lot about that's in the works as of yet,
but I will say that if the Warped Tour comes anywhere close to Columbia, SC, be looking for us to make a showing there! And, as promised, site updates are coming soon including some pictures from the con!
